Dear Guests,
The aim of our policy is to provide you with the necessary information to ensure a relaxing and pleasant stay and to avoid any misunderstandings. The policy applies to all guests staying in the guest house. Please do not enter the areas marked with private signs and do not use the objects there.
Arrival and departure:
Please check in from 14:00 on the day of arrival and check out by 11:00 on the day of departure. In case of earlier arrival or later departure, luggage storage can be arranged. Please lock the gates and doors on departure and for the night. When leaving the house, please close the windows of the rooms and common areas and pay special attention to this. When you leave the property permanently, the keys must be returned to the host or his/her representative. Any loss of keys must be reported to the accommodation provider immediately and the replacement or change of locks must be paid to the accommodation provider immediately.
Equipment:
All guests are obliged to use the premises and all equipment of the accommodation for their intended purpose and to comply with fire and safety regulations. The furnishings in the house can only be rearranged with the prior approval of the owner. The house is classified as a high fire risk property, therefore smoking and the use of open flames in the house and its immediate vicinity is strictly FORBIDDEN. Please use the electric candles provided for mood lighting. There are several extinguishers in the house: garage, pantry, living room, upstairs hallway.
The host is not responsible for any damage to the property or accidents resulting from improper use of the equipment and furniture in the house. Please do not take any indoor furniture (beds, bed linen, blankets, tables, chairs, etc.) outside into the garden. Please refrain from eating in the rooms.
Damage caused on the premises of the accommodation shall be compensated by the person who caused the damage or his/her legal representative.
Valuables:
We do not take responsibility for the personal valuables (e.g. jewellery, telephones, laptops, watches, etc.) brought into the accommodation area, nor for the safety of vehicles parked in the yard. Please hand in any found items to the manager of the accommodation.
Reception of visitors:
The guest house can accommodate up to 30 people, of which 10 (+2) can be accommodated. The host is entitled to check without prior notice that the number of guests are within the paid capacity. The guests may receive visitors after prior arrangement with the owner, only in the common areas. Visitors staying after the agreed time will be charged the current accommodation fee payable in cash on the spot.
Garbage disposal:
Please keep the property clean and tidy. Household waste can be collected in the bins in the kitchen, on the terrace, in the bathrooms and in the rooms. If these become full during your stay, please empty them into the large bins at the gate (please separate your rubbish to protect the environment). Upon departure, please make sure that there are no unwashed dishes or rubbish in the kitchen. New rubbish bags can be found in the cupboard under the sink.
Cleaning and disinfection:
The accommodation is freshly cleaned before each guest’s arrival, and the bed linen and towels are freshly washed. Please let us know if you have any complaints about cleanliness.
Garden and house:
The garden is looked after by the host, for long stays (min. 1 week) you can expect lawn care and other gardening work once a week, which takes 3-4 hours on average and is done by prior arrangement. Please do not turn off the irrigation system. Please take care of the plants, be it flowers or vegetables. As in any household, it is possible that something in the guest house may break or malfunction through no fault of the guests. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, please report it immediately to the owner to prevent any serious damage. In the event of an accident or other incident, the accommodation manager must be informed immediately. Please do not throw sanitary towels, tampons, nappies or wet wipes into the toilet. Use the bin provided for this purpose. Jumping into the pool is forbidden and life-threatening, please cover it after use. Torches placed around the pool and elsewhere in the garden must not be moved from their original place.
Noise and other information:
To ensure the peace and quiet of our neighbours and the nearby woodland, no loud noise, or loud music is permitted in the Guest House between the hours of 10pm and 8am. No personal sound systems, DJs or bands are allowed in the Guest House. The owner reserves the right to refuse to accept guests who behave in a disorderly manner or who do not comply with the house rules, and to remove them from the guest house immediately. The house is equipped with an alarm system which we kindly ask you not to arm, on request we can remotely arm and disarm it.
Please note that the owner cannot be held responsible and will not be liable for any damage caused by events beyond his control (e.g. natural disasters, hail, fire, power failure, etc.).
Tariffs depending on the type of damage:
- Smoking in the house: 30.000 HUF
- Burning the floor: from 20.000 HUF
- Burning of carpet or furniture: from 50.000 HUF
- Stains on carpets and furniture: from 15.000 HUF
- Damage to house walls (logs): from 20.000 HUF
- Damage to Jacuzzi: damage to Jacuzzi body or machinery 50.000 HUF – 250.000 HUF, damage to Jacuzzi cover or its inner part 30.000 Ft – 80.000 Ft, loss or breakage of filters inside Jacuzzi 35.000 HUF/piece, burnt out Jacuzzi tent 25.000 HUF/ detachable side surface, 60.000 HUF/ tent surface.
- In case of other damages, the owner of the Guest House determines the extent of the damage, an individual offer by a specialist may be necessary to determine the amount of the damage.
- Cancellation conditions. Cancellation up to 3 weeks before the arrival date will be refunded 50% of the total amount of the reservation, cancellation within 3 weeks will result in forfeiture of the reservation. For bookings made during special periods (red-letter holidays, Christmas, New Year’s Eve), the cancellation period is doubled. In case of cancellation, the booking fee will be refunded if the cancelled period is sold. The rate of refund of the cancellation fee lost will be the same as the replacement booking fee.
